Someone on my television just called this “the national girl-on-girl anthem” and, well, regardless of whether or not they were real dykes we all know this is the only song that ever mattered. I’ll never forget my neighbor—the sixty-five-year-old ex-basketball-player, ex-expat with the compulsive door-crossing who fries fish every morning—blasted this song to the whole complex at least twelve times in a row. It was second only to the time he did the same with “Toxic” for four hours.
