The end of this is the most important conversation to ever have appeared on youtube

This is basically my entire artistic practice

agreed: the end of this conversation between tracey emin and billy childish is the most important conversation ever to have appeared on youtube. look at her face.

tracey: “do you know what makes me really angry? you’re probably the first big love of my life. and everything you write about me has this kind of twisted cruelness about it. it’s like, ‘tracey can take it.’”

billy: “…just cause intellectually you can take something on board as an idea doesn’t mean you emotionally can…and i think it’s abusive, a lot of it, but it’s something you want to do and go through…it’s that balance between trying to be honest and truthful and looking after ourselves…i read it and i think it’s fucking tough and you’re sitting there. and all i really mean in that poem is i am sorry.”

it’s intense.
