BUT WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF WE ALL PUBLISHED OUR DRAFTS?

rgr-pop:

I’m gonna queue a series I wrote a few weeks ago. It’s something I’ve been meaning to address for years. Once I wrote these, I never posted them because, rereading the morning after, I was terribly embarrassed at how earnest/boring they were at points. (Who was it that posted recently about overshare hangovers?) I’m at least going to post a few of them, though. At least a few of them are alright, and they’re certainly Need to Know.

eta: by earnest/boring I mean “not very good.”

last night or the night before i wrote a post with the above title that said “i keep trying to coerce everyone online and IRL and no one will take me up on it. you are all wrong, we should totally publish our old, terrible, no-longer-relevant-seeming drafts. it would be extremely feminist.” then i saved it in my drafts. but seriously it is a good idea and i wish i could make a more convincing argument right now.

Some of my drafts might be kind of mean, I keep them for insurance. I did this once.
