i had drinks with a close friend that i’ve been close friends with for like 10 years and she said, politely, “it’s just that i’ve always known you to be someone who was very secure in their opinions and last year…” and i was like “i know. i know! remember when i kept asking everyone if i was really selfish?” i found this song randomly the other day, a bit too late, right on time, etc etc. she also said i seemed really happy. it was kind of a crazy weekend.
