lookerlooker asked: in light of the micromermaid ask, i just wanted to tell you that i often think about this post (it won't let me link, google lookerlooker + living through this together) where you said "i love fragmentary and scrapbooky and cryptic" when i'm worried about how much i veer between (attempting) #radical vulnerability blogging and archiving/inside joke blogging. something like a curatorial feminist permission slip to veer, from you to me to you? and also that i love cryptic too, cryptic is important

got it! and yes, i love that tumblr lets us do something besides, or in addition to, straightforward narrative. i don’t always have the energy to narrate, or think it is in anyone’s best interests to narrate (it’s easier if best interests aren’t an issue), or think i can do the same thing if i narrate. and i still love cryptic, too.
