i smell you on my clothes
la biennale di firenze, 1997, florenceJenny Holzer and Helmut Lang collaborated for the first time on an art project, in which their interest was aimed at the outer covering of the body, the skin. Helmut Lang shaped an inner room by various means among which was smell recalling human skin.

mmmm, i used to wear helmut lang perfume in the nylon days, before my agent provocateur obsession took over. our office wasnt very far from the sadly now-defunct helmut lang store. i just got up to double-check with the 2 perfume bottles i still have and, yes, the scent is still intoxicating.
plus: this perfect jenny holzer collaboration. sort of into the idea of skin as art project, though i havent worn fragrance in a long time.
