tonight aliza and i were sitting next to each other talking at a party when she realized that the couch had been abdicated. she was like “do you want to?” and it took me a minute, but then i was like “YES.” we cozied up on what was actually a loveseat and then i made her enumerate every time we’ve ever been on a couch or a bed together, including that time at the standard. in addition to asking me if someone sucked in a feminist way she also stated, rightly, “to be a feminist is an experiment.”
