the elevator gets really real

after class today we were on a really full elevator that stopped at the third floor where a group of guys was standing waiting and aliza smiled widely at them and said, “you should take the stairs,” and leon, not smiling, said, “yeah you’re on the third floor,” and then the door closed and i started laughing and was like, no, seriously, home.
