unimpressed and hungover in the library. one of the compulsory readings for my upcoming group presentation is Sara Ahmed and one girl (who last week had to ask what androgynous meant) kind of jumped on it and was all like ‘I’m going to show this clip from Modern Family, you know, the gay couple, it’s like… Queer Feelings’. (like, that is an exact quote.) so I’m probably just going to hijack the end of the presentation and do my own thing, because other people’s ideas, ughhh.
when one of your lurkers posts a cute picture of herself and also references sara ahmed plus i was thinking yesterday about the time that i defected from my women’s studies group because other people’s ideas….i mean, i love collaboration, but questionable.
