stop trying to understand this person and their ongoing boring issues that they refuse to deal with and then call you selfish because you don’t just want to live with them. also stop trying to use the words “support” and “struggle” seriously. also don’t try so hard to be rational the situation is clearly completely irrational. most adult men can wake themselves up; they aren’t sick and working in a pile of used tissues and ruining your plans on a more-than-weekly basis; and they definitely aren’t blaming the results of constantly overextending and not taking care of themselves because they have yet another crucial celebrity profile to write on their girlfriends, who are actually kind of busy getting their phds. also “i try to…help you work through ways to solve these things.” DON’T HELP HIM YOU ARE NOT HIS MOM OR HIS THERAPIST AND YOU GAVE HIM THE PHONE NUMBER OF A THERAPIST AND HAD THAT THERAPIST VETTED BY TWO OTHER THERAPISTS AND HE PROMISED TO CALL FOR MONTHS AND DIDN’T. go have a drink with your friends and read some theory.
…without my strong-willed, confident wife I would not be the strong-willed, confident man I am.
Ok, I have mostly ignored the “who needs feminism” thing because, yawn.
but i looked through it today and.and.

thank you for giving me the opportunity to link to the actual perfect answer to this insufferable statement.
